The education is performed by Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
Bachelor students of Informatics obtain good theoretical
training and practical and applied knowledge and they form
professional qualities that give them the opportunity to
successfully realize as programmers, system and network
administrators and designers, graphic designers, software and
hardware experts, as well as to continue their education in
Master's and Doctor's programs.
During their education, compulsory, optional and elective
courses are studied in the area of Informatics and Mathematics,
foreign language and sport. Courses are classified in groups and
areas as follows: 26 compulsory courses, 10 optional courses
selected from 7 groups of courses, foreign language in 2 parts,
sport in 4 semesters. The total number of hours for the 4-year
course of study is 2265 class hours at the University.
Extracurricular work load includes students' independent work,
attending library and computer laboratory, tutorials.
Faculty of Mathematics and natural Sciences is responsible for
education, as well as Philological Faculty and Faculty of Pedagogy
that are responsible for education in the area of foreign language
and sport, respectively.
