The specialist graduated in "Bachelor" degree of Industrial design - Fashion acquires to realize as an artist - designer, designer of clothes and accessories. The students are allowed to realize as artists in the field of applied and decorative fabrics and artists in the field of advertising and graphic design. The learning process is based on artistic activities aimed at developing creative, divergent and convergent thinking in students and improving the practical and artistic skills. This allows them to work as a freelance artist.                       During the course students receive practical training and theoretical courses in art history and clothing acquire basic imaging tools and techniques of design, fine and applied arts, become familiar with the theory of shaping and composition. The emphasis in training is focused on the acquisition of:

1. Theoretical knowledge and culture in fashion and cultural phenomenon. Students are introduced not only to the historical development of the world and Bulgarian clothing, accessories and textiles, but with contemporary dimensions of fashion in the country and the world.

2. Particular attention is paid to the formation of skills and abilities of artistic design and construction of contemporary clothing, art materials processing (decoration, patterning, weaving, etc.), marketing and advertising clothing.

3. The complex nature of creative artistic design requires students to have not only artistic, but also certain technical and technological knowledge of the properties and the nature of the materials for technological algorithms and processes for the treatment of clothing, for the organization and management of the clothing production.

This training will enable them to work as artists - designers of clothing, accessories and additions.

Preparation also allows them to work as artists in the field of applied and decorative fabrics for clothing, artists in the field of advertising and graphic design in fashion. Deeper knowledge in these areas, students could receive in his further training in the master's degree.
