Specialty "Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy"is consistent with the modern approach to the different roles of preschool and primary school teacher, related to the objectives of educational system directed at full development of individual potential of each participant in pedagogical interaction, according to their own capacity to ensure a level of mastering of knowledge, skills and competences as a prerequisite for meaningful personal and social integration in a dynamically changing society.  Specialty's training documentation was developed in the spirit of modern educational policy designed to match individual public education.

Bachelor's program aims to prepare professionals with educational qualification parameters, enabling them to full realization in educational and training activities in the kindergarten and primary school. Studies last for 4 years (8 semesters). Structurally specialization includes compulsory, elective and optional subjects /facultative disciplines/.

Obligatory disciplines ensure acquisition of fundamental general theoretical and specialized specialty's instruction. This is achieved through mastering of knowledge from different scientific fields (pedagogy, psychology, sociology) and knowledge with integrative and interdisciplinary nature. Elective disciplines provide extension and upgrade on general theoretical and specialized specialty's instruction. They are used to supplement and specify the knowledge and competencies acquired in the obligatory subjects. Facultative disciplines allow the acquisition of knowledge and skills from different scientific fields in accordance to students' interests.

Students who have successfully completed training in "Preschool and Primary School Education" with the degree of "Bachelor" acquire the professional qualification "teacher, teacher, and children's primary school teacher." Bachelor in Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy is an integral and wide specialist-expert on child development during the period of building and formation of child's personality (3-10-11 years of age), able to support the gradual unfolding according to preschool and primary school childhood, prepared to fully organize proper pedagogical interaction in children's groups in all types of  kindergarten (all day  kindergarten, half-day kindergarten and weekly kindergarten) and the overall educational process in primary school.

Bachelor in specialty  "Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy" cancan occupy the following positions: preschool (children) teacher, primary teacher, teacher-educator, educator in homes for children at preschool and school age,  leader and teacher at the centers for work with children in schools and in extracurricular activity groups; position in the children's departments and institutions of mass communication and art; consultant-expert in institutions where there is work with children of preschool and school age, in diagnostic and prognostic centers, consultant and leader  of preschool and primary school age' children to institutions and private kindergartens and schools.

Graduated Bachelor degree in Preschool and Primary School Pedagogy have an opportunity to specialize in different postgraduate qualification and extended education forms; as well as to continue  education in degree "Master".
