Annotation

The aim of the doctoral degree in the scientific specialty "Organization and management outside the sphere of material production (socio-cultural sphere)" is to develop, through modern research programs, approaches and forms, highly qualified cadres with a potential for scientific work, who with their knowledge and on the basis of their scientific and research skills will contribute to the further development of science and practice in the field of the organization and management outside the sphere of material production (the socio-cultural sphere). The forms of study provide a widening of the fundamental theoretical and vocational training and development of dissertation theses on a current issue of science and social practice in accordance with the high requirements of the contemporary economic development and the need to directly link the scientific theory to the specific needs of practice.

Through the training in the scientific specialty the following sub-objectives are ensured:

  1. Providing fundamental and special knowledge in the field of general economic theory and the organization and management of the branches and sub-sectors outside the sphere of material production.
  2. Achieving high qualification of the PhD students to solve with scientific approaches and methods theoretical and scientific problems and problems of the economic practice.
  3. Development of independent creative thinking and ability to conduct independent research, elaboration of scientific thesis and elaboration of new scientific ideas.
  4. Training of highly qualified cadres for research and teaching activities.

In the process of training the PhD students:

  1. Master the methodology of research and its application through the prism of the concrete scientific and practical problem.
  2. Form skills to handle the scientific apparatus.
  3. Build skills to search, draw and analyze scientific and practical issues.
  4. Form skills to apply scientific approach and use scientific tools in research work.
  5. Acquire knowledge of the methodology of teaching economic disciplines.
  6. Form special knowledge and skills to work with different informational sources and acquire high level of computer and linguistic literacy, oriented towards providing personal information awareness and facilitating professional contacts with scientists from other countries.

Those, who have obtained the Doctoral degree in the field of "Organization and management outside the sphere of material production (socio-cultural sphere)", may find their realization as researchers in scientific centers and units on the issues of organization and management outside the sphere of the material production, lecturers at universities, state experts, consultants-experts in governmental and non-governmental organizations, contractors and experts in diagnostic, prognostic, management and scientific-research centers and institutes.

The fundamental training enables the graduates to be competitive on the labor market, especially where a wider training than that required for Bachelor's and Master's courses is required.

The practical training of the PhD students allows them to find their realization in the specific conditions of the teaching, research and expert activities.
