Annotation

The process of educating students in the Master's course "The History of the Bulgarian lands in the context of the common European development" is harmonized with the Bulgarian Higher Education Act and the internal Regulation of the South- West University.

During the process of education the main issue in the compulsory disciplines is the common European culture of the past and the participation of Bulgaria and the other Balkan countries in the process of building European values.

A good command of English is needed (for the process of reading scientific books).

It is a full-time educational process for a period of three semesters. Students prepare and then defend their Master's Thesis at the end of the program. The successful are granted a Master's Degree in History.

The graduates can become successful in a number of places where professional skills in History are required. The graduates can be successful in the sphere of education, science, culture, administration and the NGO.
