General information

Students are being exchanged within the Erasmus+ program on the basis of bilateral agreements between South-West University and higher education institutions from EU, EEA and Turkey.

Eligible participants in students` mobility are all students at South-West University "Neofit Rilski" at all levels (bachelor, master, PhD) and all forms of education (full-time, part-time) that meet the criteria mentioned below.

The duration of the training period is minimum 2 (two) months.

For the training period students are given financial support. It will not fully cover the mobility costs. It is given to cover the additional costs resulting from the difference of the standard of living in the home and host country.

Students who have had an Erasmus mobility can apply for participation in Erasmus+ programme. The total duration of the mobility period should not exceed 12 months.

Participation criteria

• Students should have Bulgarian citizenship or permanent residence in BG
• Students should have sufficient knowledge in a foreign language
• Students should have an average grade of their education period not less than VERY GOOD

Selection procedure

• Students apply for an Erasmus exchange in the faculty in which they are being educated
• The Erasmus Faculty committee is examining the students
• The names of the selected students are announced on the information fields in the faculties and on the university webpage.
