PEDAGOGY OF MUSIC ART was established for the preparation of specialists in the Bachelor's academic and qualification degree who can seek employment as teachers of Music at comprehensive schools - in the elementary, middle and upper course; teachers of music subjects for the classes with extensive studies of music; music instructors in kindergartens; teachers of musical instruments and solfeggio at music schools; choir-masters and orchestra conductors; headmasters at educational establishments providing musical education; managers of private establishments in the field of musical education.

ART OF PERFORMANCE (FOLKLORE INSTRUMENTS OR FOLKLORE SINGING)

The specialists with a Bachelor's academic and qualification degree in the specialty of "Art of Performance" are prepared for employment as:

1. Performers in state, municipal, private or company formations or ensembles for folklore songs and dances, choir-masters of children's vocal groups or conductors of children's instrumental groups and orchestras;
2. Teachers of musical instruments at the Children Music Schools, classes with extensive studies of music at secondary comprehensive schools, children art centres, etc.

Training provided to students in the two new specialties gives them the opportunity to occupy management positions in institutions and administrations related to arts.

Performing Arts (Electronic technology in music) degree "Bachelor"

Graduate with a degree in "Electronic Technology in Music" is prepared for work in recording and sound processing in sound but symphonic, chamber, choral, folk or popular concerts, opera and theater performances, the realization of feature films and documentaries.

Specialist educational degree "Bachelor" received qualification "Sound engineer" and can be implemented as a sound engineer in the electronic media and specialists in sound processing.

ART OF PERFORMANCE - POP AND JAZZ SINGING specialty

The Bachelor's degree graduates in the specialty of the Art of Performance - Pop and Jazz Singing develop professional performance skills and can pursuit career as concert performers, show, musicals and music club performers, teachers of pop and jazz singing, masters of children vocal groups, teachers at specialized secondary schools of music and classes with intensive studies of music;

 

Master Programs

Since year 2008 there has been an admission in the Master's degree program in "Musical education and training" with a duration of the course of studies of 2 semesters for specialists in the field, and 4 semesters for non-specialists, and a doctor degree programme in the professional area of Pedagogy of Teaching of Music.

"Musical instruments or singing with mastering of vocal and instrumental formations"

The graduates in this specialty have pedagogical and performance skills for:

• stage interpretation of musical art of various styles and ages;
• ensemble music making and qualities to conduct various types of chamber instrumental formations and vocal groups;
• Instrumental accompaniment for individual performers  and school bands of various nature;
• Conduct of specialized methodological training in musical instruments / singing for children of various age groups;

The specialist is able to work as a teacher of music at primary schools and as a master of professional ensembles, teacher of the respective musical instrument / singing for classes with intensive studies of music, master of chamber ensembles, conductor of various mixed formations, teacher of musical instrument in various state and private schools of art.
